Corazón Latino Honored as a Bronze Winner for Environmental Justice Project at The 3rd Annual Anthem Awards
WASHINGTON, DC — Corazón Latino today announced its achievement as a Bronze Winner in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) category at The 3rd Annual Anthem Awards for its pioneering project "Addressing Our Future Now: The Environmental Justice Lens in the Forest Service Mission through DEIA – A JEDI Project."
This year's Anthem Awards, founded by The Webby Awards, recognized impactful efforts from various artists and organizations, including Taylor Swift, Elton John, Matt Damon, and Kevin Bacon. The awards highlighted significant contributions to various social causes, with Corazón Latino standing out for its unique Environmental Justice (EJ) training program.
Developed in partnership with the USDA Forest Service, the film series effectively combined compelling storytelling with Forest Service mission values, highlighting diverse voices, including those of youth and indigenous partners.
