Corazón Latino Celebrates the Historic Biden-Harris Administration Milestone

The national non-profit calls for solidarity and recommitment to American ideals

Today marks the one year anniversary of the Biden-Harris administration. Felipe Benitez, Executive Director of Corazón Latino, issued the following statement:

“Americans voted in the Biden-Harris administration as part of a national movement to recalibrate and steer the country back to its American ideals. We knew that we had many challenges ahead of us in the effort to redress the wrongs hurting our country, but we moved forward with the hope and commitment to a better future together inspired by love and our faith in one another.

“We have a long way to go to reach our goals, but today is a day to reflect on our progress, strategize new opportunities, and recommit to finishing what we started. See some of what has been accomplished by this administration here. We have a great leadership team in the White House fighting to improve our wellbeing through health, social, economic, education, and climate investments. These leaders will need our continued support and guidance, which Corazón Latino commits to provide. We ask that you join us as we labor together in solidarity.”
