International Day of Forests: A WV Celebration

Let's celebrate International Day of Forests with Aly MacLatchy

The program will include three short segments:

Yoga/Movement Class - Root to Rise!

“If we surrendered to the earth’s intelligence we could rise up rooted, like trees” - Rainer Maria Rilke

The forest is an ecosystem of individual beings woven together through a web of connection and thrives as a cooperative and diverse whole. Let's breathe, move, root, and rise together. We will embody the wisdom of the forest through our conscious cultivation of ground that serves to uplift, empower, and inspire. While we cannot be together in person, we can come together in practice to appreciate and take greater responsibility to protect these sacred spaces of vital life. Come as you are, in comfortable clothes. This class is open to all levels of practice.

Breathe with the Trees - Meditation

A guided visualization practice of reciprocal breathing with the trees as your lungs outside of your body.
