“We are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of one of our most dedicated environmental justice activists for our Latino community. Throughout his long career, he advocated for equal access to green spaces and public lands for communities of color and helped so many people through his work. His deep investment in and mentorship of underserved communities will continue to benefit generations to come.”
