Earth Day 50: Corazón Latino to Honor Our Madre Tierra
Live concerts, panels, and new mobile wellness app among shelter-in-place offerings
WASHINGTON, DC — Corazón Latino and its partners will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22 with a series of digital activities that offer timely news and information, spark inspiration and wellness, and include live entertainment for Latino communities during the Covid-19 global health crisis.
The organization is also launching ¡Estamos Vivos!, a new mobile wellness app in partnership with Forest Bathing Puerto Rico. Users will be one click away from the sights and sounds of El Yunque National Rainforest in Puerto Rico to users across the nation and around the globe.

Anissa Hernández MD: A Psychiatrist and Forest Therapy guide, Anissa will launch this mental wellness and meditation app that will allow individuals to experience the sounds and movements of nature through mobile devices and their personal computers. Link.
WHAT: Earth Day Concierto para niños with Nathalia Palis-Mclaughlin

Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Nathalia moved to the United States to study Music Therapy at the Berklee College of Music. Upon completion, she began her career in Los Angeles and later received a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. Nathalia’s experience as a music therapist and early childhood music educator inspired her to use music as a tool for teaching her own children Spanish. Link.

Lele Rose Live in Concert: Let's kick-off Earth Day’s 50th Anniversary celebration with live, online entertainment. A multi-lingual original music and dance artist, Lele Rose began her career at age 4 when she sat down at the piano and started playing tunes by ear. She is trained in classical piano, ballet, tap, jazz, and vocals. At a young age, greatly influenced by Michael Jackson and Madonna, Lele combined the classical with the new -- and moved into piano rock and hip-hop dance. She refined her hip-hop dance skills at the Broadway Dance Center, NYC. Link

Join us to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day with a special online concert with Ana Free.
Ana is a singer, musician, songwriter and performer who has had a series of top-five hit singles, including four number-one hits, in Portugal.
