“Our hearts go out to the victims and their families of this senseless violence. We pray and hope that they will find comfort and peace.

We condemn violence and hate. There is no place in sports, or in society, for acts like the ones that transpired last night. We urge Mexican authorities to find and prosecute the perpetrators.

In these difficult moments, we call for compassion and love among all humans. The only way to heal is by coming together. Despite this sad moment, we know that love will indeed prevail.”
