In October 2022 USDA announced that 14 non-profit organizations and one tribal entity have been awarded the grant funding to administer the FFWR program. To see a complete list of the organizations, including their contact information and service areas, please visit the awarded grants page.
Using this list individual workers may identify the organization(s) serving their region, contact them to ask them questions, and apply for a direct relief payment when application periods open. Please note that the application periods of the different organizations have NOT yet opened and may begin at different times. We anticipate that at least some organizations will begin accepting applications for benefits in early December 2022.

USDA Invests $665 Million in Grants to Provide Relief to Farm and Food Workers Impacted by COVID-19
In September 2021, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced a $665 million Farm and Food Workers Relief (FFWR) program to reimburse individual farm and food workers for pandemic-related costs they have incurred. There was a competitive grant application for non-profit (501c) organizations, Tribal entities, and state agencies to apply to the FFWR program. Technical Assistance for applying and awarded organizations is available from Corazón Latino and the United Farm Workers Foundation.
When Can Qualified Workers Apply
