Corazón Latino and partners will host the Luquillo Charrette (workshop) on June 2th from 4 to 6 pm at Sabana Community Basketball Court to help shape how resilience will look in the communities of Sabana and Fortuna.
The EPA has recently launched a Community Change program that can bring millions of dollars to implement the vision of the community. Corazón Latino is working with the municipality, Fundacion Borincana and community partners to seek funding to transform the Sabana Cummunity and Fortuna siteinto resilience hubs that can be critical infrastructure for the community — especially after a hurricane.
In order to ensure that this vision reflects the community, Corazón Latino will hold a workshop to discuss the community’s ideas for these sites.
