The emerald ash borer, and invasive beetle, destroyed most of the ash trees at Jug Bay. Join us as we plant trees to reforest the area!

Corazón Latino is partnering with local Catholic Churches in Maryland for environmental stewardship and to spend time in nature with friends and family. Activities include tree planting and a scavenger hunt - we hope to see you there!

Where: Jug Bay: 6026 Pindell Rd, Lothian, MD 2071. We will meet near the Caretaker’s house.

Transportation (pick up at 8:00 a.m.) : a free shuttle will be available from St. Mary’s Church (7301 Annapolis Road, Landover Hills, MD 20784) to and from Jug Bay
